2018 commercial Roofing trends
December 14, 2017
If you’ve watched the news or even started your Christmas shopping yet, you’ll see there has been a boom in consumer confidence around the United States. This spike in consumer spending drives more revenue and profit to businesses across the nation. As profits increase, many companies are able to replace the entire roof whereas their previous year’s budget may not have allowed. This opens up a multitude of roofing material options!
According to the ‘Roofing Contractor’s 2017 Commercial Roofing Trends Study’, single-ply membranes ruled the commercial roofing industry in 2017 and will continue to do so into 2018. Materials like: TPO (Thermoplastic polyolefin) account for 53% in single ply roofing systems, followed by 26% – EPDM (ethylene propylene diene terpolymer) and 21% – PVC (polyvinyl chloride).
At JRC, Inc., we pride ourselves in staying on top of these growing industry trends. Our team coordinates with national and regional material suppliers to stay up-to-date on the newest available roofing products. One example, our team recently met with American Weatherstar, supplier that specializes in high-performance, fluid-applied Ure-A-Sil roof coating, in order to learn more and provide additional options to our new and existing clients.
You can rely on JRC, Incorporated to be your Nation’s Premier Roofing and Construction Contractor providing honest, unparalleled quality workmanship & unrivaled customer service.
