Construction Project Supervisor – Commercial Roofing

Position Description JRC, Inc. is a nationwide roofing and construction company working in 48 of the 50 states. We are seeking a Construction Supervisor to manage crews and supervise large commercial flat and/or shingle roof repair/replacements throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule & Dispatch Sub-Crews daily
  • Help with retrieving any short material or returning any extra material
  • Check work for quality and ensure install standards are met.
  • Diagnose variety of roof leaks during warranty calls
  • Perform final walk-through with property management
  • Ensure daily/weekly reports and paperwork submitted on time.
  • Ensure all work is completed in a craftsman like manner and to the specifications and satisfaction of the customer.
  • Review current days work with crews, and check job site & crews for proper repair & safety procedures
  • Make decisions regarding manpower and equipment needs to keep up production.

Experience:

  • Experience with TPO, EPDM, or PVC beneficial.
  • Satisfactory work record as a Supervisor with a similar size-roofing contractor.
  • Valid State Driver’s License

Requirements:

  • Dependable and self motivated
  • Ability to travel for at least 10 days at a time throughout the U.S.
  • Ability to lift, carry and move items weighing in excess of 50 lb. occasionally
  • Ability to climb ladders frequently and work on elevated roof surfaces
  • Ability to operate tools that require extensive use of the hands
  • Clean driving record a must.

Roofing Repair Technician

JRC, Incorporated is a nationwide construction company located in Greenbrier, TN. We are currently working in 48 of the 50 states and are seeking a Commercial Roofing Repair Technician to complete repair work throughout the U.S.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Be part of a 2 person team traveling throughout the U.S. completing repairs for current and new customers.
  • Travel by company vehicle or flying to locations.
  • Locate roof defects and repair requirements by visual observations of the roof surface, flashings, drainage features, and roof penetrations.
  • Photograph defects and repairs completed
  • Work with property management to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Complete daily reports

Requirements:

Responsibilities include: 

  • Coordinate and control all field operations to maximize the effectiveness of the available labor, material, and equipment resources available to you.
  • Interview and contract with qualified subcontractors for interior and exterior renovation projects.
  • Promote cooperation, communication and coordination between the job site and the office.  This is also to include all required reports and paperwork submitted on time and in the proper format.
  • Ensure all work is completed in a craftsman like manner and to the specification, and satisfaction of the customer.
  • Review current days work with crews, and check job site & crews for proper repair & safety procedures
  • Schedule & Dispatch Crews Daily
  • Make decisions regarding manpower and equipment needs to keep up production.
  • Maintain a cooperative working relationship with all personnel that report to this position, and a professional relationship with our Customers.

Requirements

  • Willing to travel 2-3 weeks at a time.
  • Satisfactory work record as a Project Manager or Construction Supervisor managing interior renovations.
  • Licensing/Registration/CertificationValid State Driver’s License
  • Able to comprehend general arithmetical functions to compute dimensions, quantities and sizes of various parts, assemblies, and installations.
